Take some time to evaluate your commitment to physical wholeness using this Body Check-Up. Answer yes or no to the following questions:
1. Do you avoid regular exercise or fail to make it a regular routine in your life?
2. Do you take antacids more than once a month?
3. Are you more than ten pounds overweight?
4. Do you drink less than 6-8 glasses of water a day?
5. Do you often feel exhausted before noon?
6. Do you sleep less than 8 hours a night?
7. Do you get sick frequently?
8. Do you have trouble saying no?
9. Do you do too much or work long hours?
10. Do you feel guilty about leaving work early?
11. Do you take work or worry home with you?
12. Do you consume quite a bit of the following: sugar, salt, white flour, or saturated fats?
13. Do you participate in sex outside of marriage (premarital, extra-marital, viewing pornography, habitual masturbation)?
14. Is your appearance overly important to you?
15. Do you dress in any way that might dishonor God?
16. Has it been more than two years since you’ve had a physical checkup?
If you have answered any of the above questions with a “Yes”, it may indicate a concern in the area of physical wholeness.
